Raf Simons was born in Belgium in 1968. When he moved to Antwerp to pursue a career in the fashion world, the head of the fashion department of the Royal Academy soon encouraged him to start his own label without further study. And the rest is history.
Since 2014, Raf Simons and Kvadrat have been working together to develop legendary fabrics. The exceptional sense of style of Raf Simons and the high technical knowledge of Kvadrat have resulted in a number of innovative and refined collections.
Natural materials such as wool, viscose and linen are processed into furniture fabrics with the appearance of opulent, matt heavy woolen knits or shiny fur.
