The Denim collection is a robust range of furniture fabrics, developed by Bute Fabrics in collaboration with Tom Dixon Studio.
Tom Dixon, a restless entrepreneur of the non-conformist type, began to conquer the world in the mid-1980s as an unskilled designer with a natural talent.
His oeuvre includes a series of welded storage furniture and the famous 'S' Chair, developed in collaboration with Cappellini. Nowadays, fortunately, he is also involved with fabrics and, together with Bute, he has designed this heavy-duty furniture fabric, which is a mix of cotton and wool. The unique aesthetic of the fabric is inspired by workwear, hence the appropriate name of the collection.
